I'm a relatively new dvc member. I registered to the site "dvcmember.com" some months ago. Recently, I can't log on. Anyone have the same problem, or the solution? I would like to get on and order groceries etc. but can't access the members only pages any longer. Please help.

Just tried it, and it worked fine for me. Are you using your specific user name and password, or the old generic one?

I'm using the user name and password I set up just a couple of months ago. It worked up until 2 or 3 wks ago. MS tried to help some today...told me to delete cookies and clear caches. I did that, don't know a lot about it, but it did not do the trick. Any ideas? I must have a security issue that I didn't have in the past.

go to tools (in the top menus - I am assuming you are using a version of Mircosoft)

the internet options - then temporary internet file -

then delete files (but when asked you want to delete all these temporary files)

if you aren't using Microsoft - go ask how to do this on whatever you are using on the Technical boards.

I had the same problem and I had to reset the user name to my current email address. I thought I had already set up the user name to something different, but once I set it to my email address and put in my password it finally worked!

I tried to change my email and the site would not change it. MS even tried and could not. After that it locked me out so I had to have everything reset. They deleted account and gave me a new pin. They had told me that there were a few problems with site and they were trying to work them out.

Thanks for the advice. I'm going to try to reset my user name to my e-mail address. It is presently something different. Just in case I can't find out how to go about that...how did you do that?

I'm giving up!
Disney says the problem is definitely on my end...I agree. I've changed user names, and passwords twice, made all sorts of changes to the security on the computer, but to no avail. Still can not access the members' pages. I now think it may be due to the msn upgrade I downloaded about the same time it quit working. It has a built-in pop-up blocker. Even though I can disable it, I think it's still running interference. Crazy. Think the next thing to do is have someone come out and look at the system, and try to figure it out. It's way over my head!

I have been having a problem accessing also. On Mozilla Firefox, I can log in, but all I get is the banner at the top, and if I click on any of the items it loads, but nothing below the banner shows. If I use MS Internet Explorer, I can log in, and see everything, but when I try to add my coutdown I keep getting an error, this page is currently unavailable message. I have called DVC tech assistance, but they have no idea why that is happening. Funny thing is I can access it, and change it on any other computer, but the one that counts, MINE!!

I hope they fix these problems before they add all the really useful stuff like points management...:teeth:

The page does not show right for me in Mozilla Firefox. I gave up on trying with Mozilla and just go to site using Internet explorer.

I posted a long explaination at the other thread, but NO I am not a MAC user. The only thing I've changed lately on my end was to upgrade my MSN. I now have a new toolbar at the top of the page, below my Address line. It has a built in Pop-ups blocking feature, but I can easily disable it. I don't know what the heck is going on, but Disney says it's me not them. What a shocker!:earseek:

I did it! I did it! :p
After weeks of phone calls and frustration, I am back on at dvcmember.com. My teenage daughter noticed a small block notice at the bottom of the page when I tried to sign on. She clicked on it, and found that the disney sight had directions to "always block this sight." I had thought I had all of them unblocked. I even had "always allow" for the sight in my security center. In short, she fixed me in about half a minute. I knew it had to be security on my computer, but finding it was the hard part.
