DVC'ers....what does your screen name mean?

This is my AOL user name. I tried about 10 names and they were all taken. So I used the conjugation of the verb "to be" in latin. It worked.

Mine is kinda obvious...prncssjas is from Jasmine from "Aladdin". DUH. ;) But it's also a part of my license plate--"prncssj".

:D

Pretty self-explanatory I guess. I used WDWoldtimer cuz I've been visiting the World at least once and many times twice every year since they opened the resort....not because of my age!!! I'd visit even more often if I lived closer than Massachusetts.

OKW - end of June-July for big family get together (Dad is turning 70) Let's hope the fires are out by then!!

WDWoldtimer

Our family have always been big fans of the World Showcase Players at Epcot. We never made a WDW trip without seeing King Arthur and the Holy Grail at UK in Epcot. A couple of years ago, DS#2 conspired with a CM to ensure that I was the chosen silly tourist to be Galahad (.....an appointment). It was GREAT FUN and will always be a highlight for us. :jester:

Allthough my name is John, I was never called Jack. Never, until one of my son's coaches kept calling me that. He eventually had every parent on the team calling me that, and it became a family joke to call me "Jack".

After a commando style visit to WDW a few years ago (never again), I was doing research on these boards when the family began to call me Jack Disney.

They were even saying it when they were serious. One day on Main Street at the MK, my daughter asked me, "Hey Jack Disney, did you know about this new store?". The people around us were giving me curious looks.

Moobooks breaks down to:
Moo and books
I am a writer and publisher--that explains the books part. The "Moo" part is a nickname I was given because of the way my last name is pronounced.
I have three o's in the moo part because someone else is already Moobooks. How could there be two in the world?

I manufacture fence hence, I am the Fenceman.

I plan on naming my boat " No - O - Fence"

So many new members have come on Board since this thread was last used and I was curious as to where some of those names came from so......

BUMP

Took mine from "Backstreets", by Bruce Springsteen.

"Slow dancin' in the dark,
On the beach at Stockton's Wing.
Where desperate lovers park,
We sat with last of the Duke Street Kings."

Grew up in New Jersey around some of the same haunts that Bruce did, so it seemed fitting.

:cool2:

As others have stated, I use the same screen name whenever possible - jarestel stands for the initials in my name - J R StL-

Screen names are so much fun!

On weekends and evenings I worked as a "Baton Twirling Coach" for high level competitive athletes. Like a dancer or gymnastic's coach, I loved the art of it as much as working with the girls. One of my students actually came up with the name when describing herself as a twirler girl and would send me drawing and cards signed "That Twirler Girl". Now I coach professionally full time and decided I was the ultimate "Twirler Girl". It seems our screen names are true reflections on our inner-selfs. LOL

Wow! that's so cool! I was on a dance-twirl team from the time I was 11 until I was 19 and a year out of H.S. !!:teeth:

on to the OP though lol ....

Scoootch is one of the character's on the playhouse Disney cartoon "PB&J otter". I was trying to come up with a screen name that was both different and still "Disney". princess:

Mine is pretty self explanatory too...

I am a DVC owner, I am a GIRL, and 49 is a # I use for just about everything (it's my initials upsidedown...49=bh).

Hi,

Mine is pretty straighforward really...well for those that speak gaelic.

I'm originally from Scotland but live in England and get a bit home sick now and again :( so I decided to chose ALBA which means Scotland in our native gaelic language :teeth:
