DVC'ers....what does your screen name mean?

Stick a space in mine, and it's what everyone calls me!::yes::

Mine is boring but I picked it in the early days before everyone was sooo creative and I just never changed it. princess:

Rocket Riter, Inc. is the name of my little self-employment corporation. My clients often think I'm advertising the fact that I'm a fast writer (I am). But I actually named it after my dog Rocket, who convinced me to propose to my wife by loving her as much as he loved me.

I too have used the same screen name for everything when I first went on line about six years ago - when I only had one child. Her name is Cheyenne and my FIL always called her "Cheyito", but I thought he said "Cheyita." Well, 5 years ago I had a second daughter and now feel bad about only have my first DD represented in my screen names, and started the transformation with my AIM screen name to something that represents me alone. I don't know if I have the heart to take my post tally down to 0 again - my posts are few and far between and it might take me a while to get back over 100!

But maybe I will do it soon. So when you guys see Mtdewchicki, you'll know it was me. And that name comes from my obsession with Mt. Dew and Chickie is my nickname from my hubby, which is a shortened version of my maiden name. Speaking of Mt. Dew, one reason I love staying at DVC rooms is to keep my stock of Mt. Dew since they only sell Coke products on all WDW property.

For those of you that don't know...Johnnie Fedora is a character in the Disney musical "Make Mine Music" The skit is about true love found, then lost, then found again. It is sung by the Andrews sisters.

This was the "tape of the month" at the time we bought DVC. My oldest daughter was about 3 at the time and we would sing the entire Johnnie and Alice skit-word for word. I can vividly remember her sweet little voice singing so proudly with her daddy. She's a little older now, and when I ask her to sing with me she just gives me the old

Thank goodness she has a little sister.;)

I used to have clipart of Johnnie and Alice, but it disappeared one day.:( I'll have to figure out how to get it back.

CASKBILL-LOL that takes the casket....I mean CAKE! Never would have figured that out!

Mine is pretty self-explanatory also....Im a babe for LIFE!

But seriously folks....I am a big fan of Bill Phillips and his Body for Life wellness program. So I called myself a Lifer, IF I followed his program I'd be a babe but until then, my name gives me hope!

If I would change it (hate to lose all my posting too) I would be VGER (V-Ger) after Star Trek's lost ship Voyager but in the 80"s movie, when they found the Voyager the O-Y-and A were missing from the side of the ship and they pronounced it V-Ger. I named my first cat (and only) VGERie Hudson (last name after the dept. store) so if I decide to make the change this will be me.

I'm Jason hence "jay" and DW is Susan hence "sue" - my name is first because it is first in the alphabelt

DW has still not picked a screen name so sometimes she posts under this screen name as well

thanks
"jay""sue"

Judique is where I grew up and means 'land between two waters'. :earsgirl:

"bobbi" is what people call me, and "woz" is the beginning of our last name.

Alas, we are not related to Steve Wozniak of Apple Computer fame.

Bobbi:D

Master Gracey, is of course the head of household of "The Haunted Mansion".

Maistre is actually the way Master would be spelled during the 'Middle English' period, which coincides with the Gothic period that The Haunted Mansion was modeled after. 'Master Gracey' would indeed have been spelled 'Maistre Gracey'.
Since Disney spells it 'Master', perhaps he lived in The Mansion some years after it was built.... Or, perhaps Disney screwed up, and should have indeed spelled it "Maistre".

Early english, prior to Gothic would be spelled 'Maegester Gracey'.

Boring- first name, middle & last initial. If I thought of something more creative, I'd probably not change it - hate to start over again becoming a Veteran!

DH is of course proud of his alma mater.

DD is DHS Senior 007 because she will graduate from high school in 2007!

DS is 19 and too sophisticated (he thinks) (and busy with college) to bother with the DIS!

Mine is one that I use for everything else online...

Dee - my first name is Denise and lots of people call me Dee

March - our last name is Marchese

It's simple, like me!

My screen name is just my name. When I first visited the Boards two years ago, I didn't bother making up a screen name because I thought I'd log in once and probably never do so again ("why bother?") Now here I am a zillion posts later, stuck with my real name instead of something cool... :)

After someone breaking into our email with a common screen name we changed it to something different.

"Dair" (pronounced "dare") is my maiden name

Combined with "you" is similar to "dare you". It's uncommon enough where we don't have a problem with duplicating.

My parents started calling me Boo when I was a baby, and it has managed to stick for 32 years! Weird part is, when I met future hubby and we started dating, he started calling me Boo, too- not knowing that's how my family refers to me. I must look like a Boo.
