DVC Web Site Problems?

Is anyone else having trouble getting onto the Members Home page? I have been using the site for years and now I only can get the registration page. I have tried to reregister but it does not want to accept the ID and Pin number sent to me by the Vacation Club. Anny suggestions on what is going on or what I am doing wrong?

I find that I pay no attention to the reregister and after login click on the "member" button top right. That will by pass that re-register page. It sure is a pain and hope it is fixed soon has been happening since sept for me.
 
Yep, I also am unable to enter the dvcmember site, and this has also been happening since September. Even when I click on the members only at the top right hand corner I still cannot enter.:confused3 I gave up trying.
 

me too. I have used every pin number that I have ever dreamed of including ones that dVC mailed to me. I wish they would return to the standard "welcome home" password for everyone!
 
I was just on at 7:45 this morning...all was working fine.
 
No problems here either. After I logged in, I did get a "page not available" page, but when I clicked on "members only", I got the page right away.
 
I'm not having any problems.

Be sure to check that go.com is a trusted site for your browser and that you are allowed to accept cookies from go.com

The probalem could also be browser specific. I'm using IE 7 What browser are you folks having problems using?
 
Hmm, thought I replied to this but it isn't here! Gremlins! Anyway, I just solved my problem. I went to the disneyworld.com website and 'logged out' in the upper right hand corner, then I went to the dvcmember.com website and logged in just using regular sign in stuff. Works!
 
I think there is something wrong with the DVC Member web site with the log in design. I've found several work arounds, but if you get trapped in the registration page loop, the suggestions above:

- logging off and then retrying to log on
or
- closing all open browser windows and then trying to log in again

seem to work usually.

Also I've found that if I type my ID and password and hit enter...it sometime fails. I need to type my ID and Password and then click on Log In button.

And then I also have to click on Members Only in the uper right to get to the actual DVC Members site.

Something is just not right here. Too many people are having log on issues. Yet I just can't quite put my finger on it.
 
I'm able to log on with IE, but with Firefox I'm getting " We're sorry.The page you are trying to access is currently not available." I was able to login yesterday with Firefox. I'm assuming they're doing some work on those pages and it will be fixed soon. At least I hope so as I don't like using IE.
 
I have had problems logging on to various Disney sites. Disney Tech Support told me that due to some web site changes made a few weeks ago, they suggest that I delete my cookies and my web cache. Seems to have fixed the problem.
 
I just deleted all my cookies and still have a problem :confused3

My problem seems to be with the go.com site I can get onto the site but when I go to "Check Mail" I get "this progran cannot display the website". I can get onto the DVC home page but not the go.mail page.

Thanks for this info. I've been trying to get in today for 15 mins. And then started looking to see if anyone on the boards was having problems. I see it is an ongoing problem. but your advice worked great! Thanks!
 
I've been having the same problem for weeks! I have tried from 4 different computers, 5 different browsers, restarted computers and browsers numerous times, logged off and on, cleared my cookies more than anyone should need to in a year, and STILL no luck! MS didn't know what to do for me either. I gave up a LONG time ago, but really miss that stinkin' site! I hope it's fixed soon. :sad2:
 
I just tried and had no problems. I could be wrong but it's says you only need pin for your first log-in then you have a ID log-in or e-mail addr and a password. Works for me every time.

I don't even remember my pin #
 
I have noticed that if you have logged onto the go.com site for email and the user ID is something different than the ID used on the DVC member site, you con not get into the DVC member site.
My wife and I have email addresses on the go.com site and when she was the last one to look at her email and has not logged out, I can not get on the DVC member site. She has never set up her user information on the DVC member site therefore, I have to go back to the go.com email site and log her off and then I can get onto the DVC member site.
