DVC sweeptake

Good afternoon ! I wonder if anyone knows about DVC sweepstake . Does anyone win that sweepstake yet ? I have not heard about result that contest . Have a magical weekend .

I was wondering about that too...the sweeps for the 3 year DVC membership (up to 500 AKV points...where you had to play a game every day to get up to 500 points)? They picked the winner on or about 2/14. I guess it wasn't me .

You'd think they will post something on dvcmember.com when they've contacted the winner. There's nothing there yet as far as I can tell.

Hey....does anyone know if the winner has to pay for the membership dues for the 3 years? or do they just get 500 points/year for 3 years?

Good question...that would be a lot of MF...and we already pay a big chunk. I know you have to pay taxes on ARV (was like $49,300 for 500 pts/year...not sure how they figure that).

The prize covers all dues and there is a cash payout sufficient to cover income taxes on the winnings.

I was going to ask this question too - when was the name drawn and how does DVC contact them (email or telephone call)? Or home address? Since you had to enter all that information in?

I guess we didn't win either. My son really liked playing the game and it was easy for us to get to the points. I guess we will keep using the points we bought and not worry about winning.

I hope at least someone from here wins so I can say we know the winner.

Well, they notified the winner on or about February 14th (or within the next few days)....maybe they have to wait on the winner to confirm?

The contest was open to both DVC members and non-members. Millions of people may have entered.

Someone may come forward here to report that they one but the odds are against it.
