First time using DME for a split stay, how do you register for DME if doing a split stay? On the reservation form on the DVC site it only has room for one reservation #. How do they get the info for the second resort so they know where to deliver the DME pick up confirmation?

Any info is greatly appreciated.

We've done it several times. We just did them separately. We only put our incoming flight/resort info first and then we did the outgoing separately. There might be an easier way but it only took a few minutes more than usual.
The number for DME is (866) 599-0951 if you prefer to call directly.

You submit 2 forms. The first room you'll only submit your arrival information. On the second form for the second room you'll submit your departure info.

DME may or many not take your call if you haven't arranged for DME through MS as per their policy.

^^^Good to know. I have been doing it online but the one time I called they did take it for me.

Also when you transfer from 1 dvc to another you use the in house transportation system. You don't use DME, go to the bell hop during one of your days at resort 1 and tell them your transferring to resort 2 on xx day,
when do they need your bags on your check out day. Usually your bags will be at resort 2 by 6pm or so unless they get transferred earlier.

there's also a pretty good chance they'll mess things up and you'll have to correct your outgoing flight the night before departure- I've done split stays many times and more than half of the time our flight information gets totally screwed up. It always works out but it's a running joke in our travel group

After using DVC to make your DME reservation, you can call DME directly to verify or change your reservation or flight numbers. We call every time to verify and correct.
