DVC Screensaver???

Hello

Does anyone have the DVC Screensaver they could send me? I used to have it and loved looking at the pictures and hearing that music until my computer crashed

all you have to do to get it is go to the member site and take the (simple) challenge and get 5/5 for a score. You can play as many times as you want untill you get five questions you know the answers for.

I don't know where you can get it without taking the challenge. Maybe someone has it somewhere they can send it to you. I had it but replaced it and have my webshots screensaver showing all my pictures from my trip back in Jan.

I have it installed on my machine. I can send you the .scr file - you just put it in your c:/windows directory and it should work. I can't send an attachment via PM, so private message me with your e-mail address and I'll send it to anyone who wants it.

I know, technically I should make you go through the challenge yourselves, but I'm weak.

Well, my son and I sat here yesterday and did the member's challenge at least 6 times until we got it. I downloaded the screensaver and it shows that it is added to my screensaver's list, however, I am able to preview it but it does not come on my computer at the designated time. I am hoping it is just a quick fix. Thanks.

I was never able to get the DVC screensaver to work on my machine. I've got it downloaded twice, but...... Oh well, I've got some nice ones I bought at WoD on the last trip.

I had the exact same problem, but I can't remember what I did to solve it. Try going into Settings - Control Panel - Desktop Themes and then make sure you have Themes set for Current Windows Settings. If that doesn't work let me know and I will try and remember what else I did.

I have the screen saver .exe file if anyone wants it. I will email it to you
as an attachment. All you need to do is click on the link for the file,
save to disk (just remember what directory and folder you store it in, or
if you wish you can also save it to a disk) or just download it to your
desktop. Once downloaded, find where you stored it through your
windows explorer, or if your desktop just go there/ double click the name
of the file. It will automatically place the screen saver to the proper windows
folder. Then, click My Computer > Control Panel > Display > Screen Saver .
Then choose the DVC screensaver from the drop down menu. Make sure
you have the time set correctly. You can also preview the screen saver
from there. Be sure to click APPLY and OK or you screensaver will default
to the previous setting you already had. Just email me if you need the file.

Hi, once I have downloaded it, is there anyway to use a picture from it as my wall paper also?
If not, do you know the way to add a pic I find on line and can cut and paste into the wallpaper?

You can basically right click on any picture and the click on save as wallpaper!

on your desktop, anywhere there is not an icon, right click, click on properties, go to screensaver, select DVC from the list click on it, click on apply and let it rip. Sometimes it will not let you preview and the preview automatically goes away if you move your mouse (happens with any screensaver preview). Hope this helps.

I did the member challenge and downloaded the screensaver. I am able to watch it through the preview but once it actually begins as the screensaver it stops after Mickey's ears are drawn and goes to a blank screen. Can anyone help me?

I've downloaed the screensaver fromm DVC and I've also had the file sent to me but I'm still having a problem. The screensaver stops at Hilton Head each time. Does anyone have an idea what the problem might be?
