We have most info. on DVC (brother is an owner) but was told that there is an area by the Boardwalk (Inn or Villas??) to take an actual tour of the suites. We don't need an "escorted" tour just want to see the suites. Does anyone know if they are by Boardwalk Inn or Villas? I'm not too famililar with the Boardwalk area so that is why I am posting. I assume we should park at the Boardwalk (??).

Thanks --

There is an ongoing "open house" at the Boardwalk Villas, and another one at the Beach Club Villas. Not sure what the hours are, but they seemed to be open by 8:00 am and as late as 10:00pm.

We went for the tour at the DVC center at the Boardwalk. We had to walk through the Boardwalk Inn to the actual boardwalk. After we walked through the lobby we turned left, towards the Swan. The DVC center was like a store, it had a lobby (with refreshments), a babysitting area, the sales offices and models of the Beach Club Villas. They didn't show us models of the Boardwalk Villas because they aren't selling them any more. You might want to call the DVC and set up appointment. They gave us a great rate at AKL for driving over to take the tour.

Hope this helps!

Uh, they ARE again selling BW points. For right now they are only available as add-on's to existing DVC contracts, but if they do'nt sell them out soon there will probably be a very limited number of contracts opening up for new owners.

Thanks for the replies (and so quick as always!). I think we will definitely take a ride over to see the BCV.

Just a correction - the open house at BCV opens at 9:00 AM. We just left on Sunday and went to the open house. Annmarie

Last December I stopped at the DVC stand in MGM. It is located on the street that is just down from Tower of Terror. All I did was stop to look at the book of photos, and they "snagged me" to make an appointment to look at BWV. I'm glad I did. I cannot afford to buy into DVC, but once I saw the room, I just knew I *HAD* to have it. I will be staying at BWV this December on rented points.

While I am staying at BWV this year, I hope to take a tour of BCV.

We just took a tour 2 weeks ago! They show models of both the BCV and BWV. It's down on the Boardwalk, easy to find :)

They are selling BWV points right now, and you don't have to be a current DVC owner to purchase them. He told us that was effective as of June 1st.

We were given $100 in Disney Dollars for taking the tour.

When I took the BWV tour this past December, I was given a voucher for a free lunch at moderately priced places around WDW. I had chosen The Land food court because I intended to go there anyway.

It was a solo tour because it was my solo vacation.

How long did the tour take. Also, did you know you were getting the disney dollars before you went on the tour. When and where did you sign up for it. Thanks for any info.

luvdisney - we signed up for the tour the night before at the Boardwalk. He told us we'd be getting vouchers for a meal, but then called later and told us it would be $100 in disney dollars instead.

They "swore" it would only take an hour, but it took 2 hours. Which was okay, because it was nap time for our 2 year old so my MIL watched the kids in the room while we took the tour.

Our tour took about 2 hours also. We brought our kids (8 & 10). They have a play room you can check the kids into. The playroom is geared towards smaller kids though. Mine were able to entertain themselves, but were pretty bored.
