DVC room supplies

I was wondering if there are shampoos,conditioners or soaps provided in the room? We are staying in a studio. Thanks!

Yes, just like a regular hotel except that you don't get maid service every day. You also get paper plates, bowels, plastic ware and cups.

You'll get one small bottle of shampoo, one conditioner, one shower gel, one hand soap and one bath soap for each bathing location every four days. So for a studio, you have one bathing location. In at one bedroom, you have the shower and the tub (so you get two sets).

You'll also get paper kitchen towels, a pot scrubber (or two) and a small bottle of washing up liquid by the kitchen(ette) sink.

There's also hand soap in the sink area. At AKV where there's two sinks, you get two hand soaps. Also, at AKV you get hand lotion, I don't know why you don't get one in the other DVC's maybe it's just at Jambo, I didn't notice if there was/wasn't lotion at Kidani.

We didn't have any hand soap at BCV on our one bedroom. And we didn't get lotion.

Our experiences in a studio so far have been that we're given 4 paper plates, 4 paper bowls & 4 sets of plastic silverware. I packed a few extra paper plates & some plastic re-usable plastic bowls in our Owners Locker... (I just saved a few of those plastic bowls / lids from some KFC bowl meals to use for this.) At least the plastic silverware can be washed & reused...if it doesn't break when you're trying to spread butter on a bagel.

At SSR a couple of weeks ago we only had 3 towels, 2 washcloths and 1 hand towel. There was no kitchen sponge/scrubber thingy so I called Mousekeeping to request the sponge be brought by. When they came on Trash & Towel day they left an additional set of towels but they do not replenish the paper products.

Just like anything else, you can always request additional plastic ware and paper bowls etc. If something is missing (like the sponge or towels less than what is supposed to be there), you can always call housekeeping and have it brought up.

By hand soap, I mean a smaller bar than in the bath. Yes, the lotion seems only to be in AKV. I love it the lotion, it is one thing that I always take home with me.

Each bathroom also has its own towel package correct? We are staying at VGC in Dec and have a 2bdr so 3 total bathrooms and I was curious how many towels were provided.

You'll have eight bath towels (unless it sleeps nine, then you get nine), four hand towels and eight face cloths (again unless it sleeps nine, then you get nine).

Basically, it's one bath towel and one face cloth per sleeping space. And half as many hand towels.
