DVC resorts with pull-down couch instead of pull-out couch

We expect to get a 1 bd with myself, DH and DD (25). DD prefers to sleep on the couch with the pull-down bed instead of the one that pulls out of the sofa. Which resorts have the pull-down couch setup? TIA!

Thus far, only Riviera and SSR have that Murphy bed/couch combination. Eventually, it will be at all existing DVC resorts but that will be done as each comes up for its hard goods refurb (almost finished at SSR) and it will thus take many years to finish all of them. I believe BRV is next in line, and likely the 200 new studios that will be added to VGF will have them.

For DVC its only RIV and SSR. There are a couple of value resorts that have a pull down bed but it is a table, not a couch.

I will be at both resorts this summer (2 bedrooms). I will be the one sleeping on the Murphy beds. I will definitely report back regarding their comfort level.
I stayed at both resorts this past November but slept in the master bedroom. This time around my son and his wife will get the master. My hubby is staying home.

SSR renovation are beautiful. But Rivera main living area is so much larger. Rivera is gorgeous. Okay, here’s hoping the Murphy beds are comfortable!

The murphy bed mattress that pulls out from the wall is the EXACT same queen sized mattress as the one on the regular bed next to it. So it should be as comfortable as the regular bed next to it. It is only the small murphy beds that pull down from under TV’s that have thinner, smaller mattresses.

Thanks for info on mattress. I haven’t stayed in a studio, but a 1 bedroom at both the Rivera and SSR, as mentioned I took a look at the way the bed pulled down but did not lay on it. I will definitely have a opinion on the Murphy Bed comfort after this summer. I always wonder what weight the small bed under the Tv would hold. My family is very tall, so we are not candidates for that bed. They are very cute.

I’m so excited for murphy beds to be added! Definitely agree both BRV and VGF will be added next. Definitely makes you feel less guilty sticking someone on the sofa bed LOL.

The twin sleeper chair at OKW, BLT and AKV (not the value villas) isn't too bad for a single adult. They tend to sleep better than the pull out sleeper sofas.
