Going "home" for the first time in August to AKV... Now planning a 3-4 day trip for Jersey Week in November. Might try a different resort but want one that is really close to the theme parks.... I know BLT is the closest to MK, but what about Epcot & Disney Hollywood Studios? TIA

Epcot = BCV and then BWV

Studios = BWV and then BCV

MK = BLT (as you said) and then VWL

AK = AKV

BWV closest to DHS.

BCV closest to Epcot. But you can walk or boat to both parks from both BWV & BCV.

VWL closest to MK ( and soon to be BLT ).

OKW & SSR closest park would be Epcot (Typhoon Lagoon nearby too).

For Downtown Disney SSR ( walkable ). OKW close to DTD too & walkable but further (more convenient to Downtown Dis westside. Both SSR & OKW have boat to DTD.

AKV is closest to Blizzard Beach ( and as you mentioned Animal Kingdom Park )

BCV is the closest to EPCOT about a 5 min walk, BWV is a little closer to HS
but not enough to make a difference, it's about a mile walk or a 10 min boat ride.

Jersey Week is very popular - make a reservation at your home resort NOW (if you haven't already) so you have a place to stay if you can't switch at 7 months.

It will be a challenge to get BCV, BWV, VWL and probably BLT & AKV for that time as there are many, many members who travel to WDW for Jersey Week. Any remaining space at the smaller DVC WDW resorts will fill on the first day the 7 month window opens. JMHO. YMMV.

Good luck!

I wish I could go Jersey week but my kids activities prohibit me from going. As OP's have pointed out, BCV and BWV's are very close to Epcot. It is closer to Beach Club but not that much closer. The walk to DHS is closer from BWV when you cut through the scary clown pool area. The first time I made the mistake of starting at the Boardwalk which adds on a pretty good distance. You can also take a boat to both DHS and Epcot but I would recommend walking to Epcot since it's that close to the world showcase. SSR and OKW are also close to Downtown Disney. There is a walking path from SSR.
Enjoy your Nov trip if you can swing it. We went a few years ago and except for one chilly night, temps were in high 70's to 80's during the day and usually 60's at night except for one day I got caught at MK in shorts and short sleeved shirt and the temp dropped down around 50. There was a mad run for sweatshirts at the shops.

Also note that AKV is closest to AK but it is not walkable. I know it has been discussed before why they didn't but that would be so frustrating to me to stay at AKV then have to take a bus to AK:confused3 The mouse can build WDW, make Lincoln life like, have an interactive experience with "Crush", the Dino ride, etc but can't figure out how to have AKV people walk to AK:rolleyes1
