Anyone ever have DVC reosrt charge something on their credit card when they weren there????

We were at AKV in Dec and OKW in Feb. I just noticed on my CC statement that I have a chargefrom DVC Resort on 1/29.

Just wondering if the normally bill later for things they missed when using the KTTW card. Disney gave me a billing investigations number to call, but havent had time yet, they are only open until 4 and I cant call from work.

Definitely follow up with both Disney and your credit card company. I had fraudulent charges posted to my account after a Poly stay several years ago; the gap wasn't nearly as long as you're reporting, though, only a few days after checkout. It happens; it shouldn't, but it does.

As the previous poster said, mistakes can happen, or it could be a late posted charge. It is a good idea to check your room statement prior to leaving the resort to see if anything was overcharged or omitted.

Issue resolved and WDW is crediting me for the charge.
But I have to say this is the 1st time I have ever had a rude CM before.

I know the charge was bogus since she told me it was for Conch Flats in OKW. It posted to my CC on 1/29. I had never set foot in OKW until we stayed there on 2/14. She also stated that it was from Dec 7th. Then she wasnt sure when it was from only that it posted on Dec 7th. We checked out of Kidani on Dec 5th at 6am. Other than that she could not give me any other details. When I asked for proof of purchase she got all huffy and said it was from too long ago they dont have that information. I told her it was on my most recent CC bill. That is when she said" Fine I'll credit your account".

Guess I wont be keeping my credit card on file at check in anymore. I can only imagine what a hassle it would be if it were a large amount of money.

We have had similar issues, but not at Disney. We had one situation where money was being withdrawn from our credit union account. We called, they were argumentative, we filed a complaint with the state attorney general. Their bedside manner quickly changed. It was resolved when it was discovered that a computer glitch had reversed two digits in another depositors account numbers. Hence, automatic payment withdrawals were taken from the wrong account -- ours. Computers are not infallible. Garbage in, garbage out.
