DVC Reservation Info - What are the address for?

Hello Dis,

I'm adding a couple of friends to my reservation, and was wondering if anyone knows, what's the purpose of asking for their address? The only thing I could think is to mail their bands or magical express tags, but I might be wrong. If anyone knows for sure, please shine some light on me.

The practice of Disney and other hotels asking for both name and address of the occupants of a room began shortly after 9/11/01 as an added security measure.

So they can send them freebies after the trip is over. You get nothing, but they get discounts and DVC ads.
