DVC resales

Is anyone familiar with resale sites other the The Timeshare Store for DVC resales? Any sites that post individual resales without comissions?

You can sometimes find "for sale by owner" stuff on the Timeshare users Group - but FSBO isn't all that common from what I've seen.

Timesharing Today (www.tstoday.com) has a "classified" ad section where owners can list their own sales. There are many listings for the Orlando area, but I've only ever seen a couple for DVC. The magazine even sells a kit to provide the needed documents for the sale.

The monthly magazine has lots of interesting articles and discussion about common timeshare concerns.

There is also A TIMESHARE BROKER who a lot of people on these boards have used in the past for buying and selling resales. I personally would recommend them. they are very low key, professional, and keep in very good communication with you. The person to call is Jaki Apetz and her number is 888-345-2622

You can go to any search engine such as "yahoo" type in "timeshares" and you will have access to many websites that specialize in owners selling their own timeshares. I have seen OKW and BWV for sale at these sites. Watch the price some may not be good deals. Good luck! I am sure you will find something!

Thanks Ed for all your help! We found a great deal at Vero and are very excited to be adding on [again] at a new home. They are fantastic to deal with and Ed's advice [we did e-mail him]was great. Hopefully now it will get through the Disney approval process and then it is 'home' for us again.
