DVC Resale closing time?

It seems really variable.
Ours seemed to take longer than many. We passed ROFR 2/2, passed Estoppels on 2/12, received closing documents on 2/15. Returned them 2/16. Deed was finally recorded 3/7.
Others seemed to move much faster from receiving the closing docs to the deed being recorded.

I'm still learning as well. Fortunately, there are those who are ahead of me to learn from.
We received an email from the title company when it passed through Estoppel. About the next day, I received the closing docs by email. I started checking the OCC site after about 2 weeks to see when the deed was recorded. I also received an email from them that it was posted.
I doubt that I will hear anything more from the broker or title company now as all I'm waiting for is our member number from Disney and they would have nothing to do with that.

No we used DVC Magic resales. After looking at several resale sites, I came down to TSS and DVC Magic Resales. I watched both sites until one had what we were looking for. From what I've read, both appear to be excellent to work with. I have no complaints.

I'd count on 6 weeks and hope for 4

Each step of the process has taken roughly a month for us. Just got our closing docs, hoping to have everything done by month end, but our closing is scheduled for mid-April.

After you close, the deed must be recorded - that can take 2 days to 2 weeks. Then you wait for the envelope in the mail with your member ID to arrive. From what I've seen people post, that takes 2-4 weeks. Most recently, it seems closer to 2 weeks. People have also called for their member number around 2 weeks after the deed was recorded, but Disney giving out the number seems hit or miss.
