I just came back from my first split stay at kidani/jambo and I have to agree that they need a refurb badly. I stayed at Kidani first with a parking lot view and after staying at the Floridian previously I thought about selling my contract. Luckily I enjoyed Jambo much more with that savannah view, but I need them to get rid of that horrid brown paint they used on the trim. It has so much untapped potential.

The nasty carpet in the rooms needs to come out and be replaced with hard floors.

For those wondering what order the BLT refurb will happen: I went back through old posts from the 2016 soft refurb, and found out that (according to a cast member asked at the time) renovation started on floor 12 and worked down, then would move to the top floors. Someone reported staying on floor 5 when that floor was being rehabbed and the work started on the south-facing section. The guest was in a theme park view room and their room hadn't been done yet. Of course, this might not be the plan for the next refurb, but that was the order in 2016.

A few months ago, a bunch of availability popped back up for October and beyond. Not sure what things are looking like now but I'd be curious to hear as well.

VGC Accessible Studios for both hearing and wheelchair are blocked out for all of April 2025. Can’t wait to see the refurb!

VGC does not usually fill up at 11 months, except for special events like RunDisney, D23, and maybe a few holiday weekends where points are low (for example a Sunday night when Monday is a holiday).
Because there are more non-accessible rooms, it's hard to tell if some of them will also be out of commission at the same time since there is still availability.

It’s interesting to me that there hasn’t been any information yet on upcoming refurbishments for CCV and AKV given how large in scale those works will be (number of rooms).

Is there any new information on potential disruptions in availability for those? Especially AKV needs the refurb badly in my opinion.

AKV still doesn’t seem to have any chunks of time blacked out for 2025 booking dates yet either so it’s looking like it will be in the second half of the year (if it ends up happening at all…)

It's such a big resort will we even be able to feel the constrained inventory at this point? I wasn't around when Saratoga Springs went through it's total refurbishment so I don't know how a large resort's inventory is affected by refurbishment.

I stayed at BLT earlier this month. CM at front desk told me the refurbishment will happen in vertical sections, not necessarily floor by floor.
