Is there a site that post rack rates for DVC units, including HH and VB?

I'm trying to track how much my DVC accomodations cost in $$$ so I can celebrate the day we hit the "break even" mark.

For comparison purposes, should I use the 25% DVC discount? Also, is there tax charged for cash nights?

Thanks.

Absolutley not!!!! :teeth:
That's just going to push your break even point out further :teeth:
For my add-on at BCV I used the highest price i could find (about $850 or so for a two-bedroom) and discovered that I broke even midway through my third trip!! :cool1:

Seriously though, if you want to see the rack rates for DVC go to the "official" (sorry Pete) Walt Disney World site and look up accomodations under the Home-Away-From-Home category. And, yes you need to add the tax to get the full price.

We are doing the same thing, but i cant find any sites yet with HH and/or VB included. The 2 below have the others though. As far as the 25% discount goes, I personally wouldnt add it in unless you are sure you would be reserving dvc rooms even if you werent a member.

We have a little spreadsheet that just goes down the line and compares different rates that we could have taken for the time of each vacation. One column each for dvc rack rate, deluxe room rate, mod room rate, and dvc discounted rack rate, deluxe discounted, and mod discounted. We dont go crazy on the discounted columns, just if we notcie some specials for a time we are going we jot them in as well. Takes about 5 minutes for each vacation and it will be fun to look back and see what we could of spent or saved. We dont bother with the value resorts becuase we simpily never stay there.

Tax is charged for rooms reserved at the DVC cash discount rate.

But I agree with the other posters...I don't see the value in including the DVC cash discount. If you are comparing DVC to all-cash stays, the 25% discount wouldn't apply.

However, the possibility for AAA / AP / General Public discount codes on cash ressies does exist. Some discounting of rack rates would be appropriate if you really want a reasonable financial comparison.

I figure my ROI not on the same room, but on where I'd be staying if we didn't have DVC. For us, that would be connecting rooms at a Deluxe. Each trip I figure out where we'd like to stay if we didn't have DVC (the Poly? OK), what a decent rate is during that time and use that

Found this site with Vero rates

Vero Rack Rates

AAA may have Hilton Head.

FYI -- Disney has changed the category from HAH to "Disney Vacation Club Resorts" :smooth:

Looked around and that same site also has HHI.
