I've never, ever actually been stopped and pitched by anyone at one of the many DVC stands around. This year it happened three times. I am really not interested, heard the spiel several years ago, but on one of these occasions was too polite to walk away from the very nice guy and took the time to give him my name and such on the form.

Anyway, they just really seemed to be more assertive about stopping you and getting your attention. And just a few minutes ago I got a voicemail asking me to call them back so they could send some
information.

Interesting change in promotion intensity, it seems.

They're now selling 3 resorts (Aulani, Poly, and Copper Creek). It's not that surprising that they'd get more aggressive.

You may have just recently entered their target demographic.

DVD ASA's in the kiosks get paid to refer qualified prospects to the real estate agents. DVD may need more cash to pay off the construction debt of CCV and Aulani and PVB isn't selling as expected.

They need to be more aggressive than they have in the past but should continue to be professional. I doubt this is a DVD trend but we'll see.
