DVC Popcorn Bucket Refills

Can I use the popcorn bucket I received at Moonlight Magic at the Parks and get refills ?

Under the price listing for the refill, it typically says valid for length of stay. So probably not, but I doubt the CMs care or would even know when the last moonlight magic was to determine validity.

I used my moonlight magic bucket from June on trips in September and October with no issues.

As the PP said,,good for length of stay. Just like the refillable cups. Now just because there is no chip in the popcorn bucket, or cast member lets it go.....well it on you to decide.

No you can not use those buckets for refills on future trips. In October, you could buy a refillable bucket for around $12 and then pay a small fee for refills. I have many of these buckets, often buying a couple for each trip so not everyone is eating from same bucket. Once home, they make great cereal, sugar, flour, etc. containers

Clarity: the policy allows for length of stay and it’s discounted price, not free refills. Can you probably get a discounted refill on an old bucket, depends on the CM that day.

Interpreting "length of stay" will vary based on who you ask! I am an annual pass member...so I don't have any moral dilemma with buying a popcorn bucket and refilling it over a 12-month period.

As stated, the CM is the one who ultimately decides if the popcorn bucket being presented is eligible for a discounted refill.
