DVC POLY future owners thread

I'm not sure if I will ever be lucky enough to own at the Poly, but I dream of staying in the Poly DVC one day!

It's always been our dream to stay at the Poly! We visit multiple times each trip just because we love it so much.

To me the Poly has it all. It's classic Disney and the view of the MK in the distance is very magical. Plus the transportation options are great.

I could see myself staying there almost every trip!!!

We will be buying in for however many points it takes for 1 full week in a 1-Bedroom in early February. Although we do have a few years to worry about that until we have to dive into that purchase.

As morbid as this may sound, my VGF contract made me think about my own mortality. With an expiration of 2064, I could not help but wonder if I would be a grim grinning ghost by then.

The Polynesian is my family's favorite resort, mainly because it is home to many of our vacation memories, dating back to the early 1980s. We certainly hope to visit, but a Polynesian Villas contract will likely outlive me.

I can almost certainly say that we will be owners at the poly villas once they are opened. We just bought into DVC this year and so far we have two contracts; one at BWV and one at GFV. And I can't imagine those will be the last.

We would add on at Poly and we just bought GFV. We were married on the beach at Poly so there is no way hubby would say no.

It is an amazing experience to have a resort that you loved since you were a child, and then one day you hold a deed in your hand saying that you are one of the owners of that resort.

Would love to be a member. It is the only resort I would consider buying direct - and a small amount at that. I'm sure the price per point and amount needed to stay will be astronomical. Just hoping we can buy enough for DH and I to stay a long weekend every other year. We'll see....

I can't wait to call Poly DVC my home!!! Almost didn't buy VGF in anticipation of Poly but I figured it will be 2-4 yrs at best. Until then, we can dream...

I agree! A DVC Poly does not make sense financially, but I will still want it because I LOVE the Poly!!

We will buy at DVC Poly as long as one of the three things listed are met:
1- Two full bathrooms in a one bedroom
2- A SAB like pool
3- Club level access
