DVC Points rental question

Hi guys!
Let me begin by saying "I'm really sorry if this is posted in the wrong place". My DD and I are running the Marathon relay in January and are figuring out our travel plans. I came across a reference in a blog about renting points from a DVC member and thought it might be a good idea, it would give us a nice resort with a mini kitchen that would work well and cost a bit less than reserving directly with DisneyTravel. Is there a place that I can calculate how many points I would need to rent? Thanks for any advice!

If I were going to rent someone's points, I would not pay more than $10 pp.
