DVC Points Question

This may be a silly question, but I'm completely new to Timeshares, and I couldn't find the answer in the FAQs - I may have missed it though.

I was wondering how the point system works? For example, let's say I purchased one of the properties listed on the Timeshare store and it comes with 400 points and a Feb. "Use Year"

Do the points start over every year? The FAQs seem to hint at this, but it never really comes out and says it as far as I could tell.

Yes, every Feb you would receive your current years allotment of points.
If you have banked any of the previous years points , the current years would be added to those.
