I downloaded the Points Manager but when I click on it on my desktop files, it doesn't install, it displays something about zip files. I don't have winzip, so what do I do?

Do I have to pay to unzip this file? There is no way to run it without buying winzip?

I use winzip so often that I believe it is a good investment. I don't know if there is another way to access the files. Email or PM the program author (Caskbill or Fredrickson). They are both great at assisting us with their programs.

If your computer is running Windows XP, you should be able to extract the files without the need for a third party application like Winzip.

If you are not running XP, try doing a Google search for "zip freeware", and you will find links to a number of zip/unzip programs that are free. None of them are likely to be as user-friendly as Winzip, but they will get the job done.

All things considered, I concur with JimC's comment that Winzip is definitely worth the money.

What is the site address for the points manager program? Is it on the DVC member site? Thanks
