DVC points at DL - refresher

Hi everyone! Can someone please refresh my memory on the rules regarding using my DVC points at DL? In particular I am interested in what you can and can not do when you are after the 8 month mark in your use year.

The Rule of 4 doesn't apply to the DLR, so you can book just like any of the other DVC resorts. You can cancel a reservations up to 3 days prior to check in, but I think the points then can only be used for non-DVC resorts.

Excellent thanks! I am thinking about moving my DL trip next year into earlier in the calendar year (actually I am thinking about swapping my DL trip and my Grand Canyon trip) and if I do it will be in that 4 month zone.
