DVC Monopoly

I'd love to have a copy of the DVC Monopoly game that was given out on a recent member cruise, but there's no way I'm going to spend the $100 it's going for on EBay. Looking at the pictures, it doesn't appear that the box has anything that designates it as a member cruise item. Do you think we'll ever see them for sale as a logo item at the resorts?

I saw that ebay listing too! How cool! I have no answer to your question LOL, just agreeing with the fact that the DVC monopoly game is pretty neat.

There have been about 10 or so of these posted and sold on EBAY. All have gone for over $100 as I recall.

I keep watching, hoping to get a bargain, but they seem to be quite popular.

Didn't sail on SS Member Cruise 2012, but from what I saw, this one is the most limited as it was only one per stateroom.

I asked the CM at the gift shop while I was At Disney last month, they told me that it would not be available for sale in the parks.

Maybe I should have asked the bus driver for a real answer...

I called the maker and they said they were only are for the cruise and will not be producing more.

I'm just hoping that they give those on the January 2013 DVC Member cruise as well, or I will have a VERY upset 9 year old. That is the ONLY thing she wants me to bring home. LOL

When we cruised in sept we asked the dvc staff this same question. As far as they knew, the monopoly would be given out in Jan since it would be a different group of members. I'm hoping they are right and I'm hoping to see them on the cruise as they were pretty sure they were working the member cruise.

Well my Dh was one of the suckers, lol and I opened DVC monopoly on my birthday (Dec 21) It's awesome! My DS is obsessed and we've already spent hours and hours playing. Thanks whoever sold theirs.
