I dropped by Disney's Animal Kingdom in time for the rope drop.

Uh-oh ROPE DROP !!!! Don't pick up the vacation pace too much

Your picture of the gorillas with the blankest made me smile....I was there in January and there was one gorilla who kept taking the blankets from the others. He threw dirt at one of the other gorillas and ran away with the blanket. They just had a feeding so they were a lot more active and we watched for about 45 minutes.

Also thanks for the Kidani pictures....can't wait to stay there in October!!

The walk from the MK to BLT is just 5 minutes, very similar to the BCV/BWV walk to Epcot. Location, location, location!

We had a nice dinner at Yachtsman Steakhouse. I had the Lobster Bisque (Maine Lobster and Creme Fraiche finished with Brandy), followed by the Filet Mignon with Mashed Potatoes and a Red Wine Sauce.

We've had pretty great meals so far. My DW's two favorites were Flying Fish Cafe and Yachtsman Steakhouse.

I think Jiko was my favorite so far.

Is this the place from which some people recommend watching Wishes? I didn't know you could go up top; seems like that'd be right on for watching Wishes since you're above the tree line. Great pictures, by the way!
