Very excited about a Live trip report from BLT!! Great pictures! When we go in Dec to BLT, we are only going into the MK for MVMCP and maybe one other time the day we leave. Spending time enjoying BLT is what we really want to do!

Wow - a BLT trip report from DVC Mike. I just love your trip reports - the pics, the play by play, the food, did I mention the pics. Anyway - have a great time and enjoy all the non park activities. We've done one non park tirp so far VWL and loved it.

Mike, I love your reports, but I am secretly patiently waiting for your BCV live report in October! Cmon man, ya gotta get back to the Boardwalk area, cuz you know thats your favorite, right? What a great day yesterday was! We spent the entire time at BLT and the Contemporary. We had a great dinner at the California Grill, and then wandered up to the Top of The World lounge.

I spoke with the manager, as he was walking around greeting people. Besides us, there were only 6 other people up there. Most of the servers were just standing around, waiting.

Unless they get more DVC members up there, I don't see it as very profitable and thus the exclusivity for DVC members will vanish.

I'll get around to posting more pics later today. I'm off to breakfast at the Grand Floridian.

It's such a shame about the Top of the World lounge! I LOVED it up there! Maybe they should open it up to ALL DVC members staying on property & see what happens... I know I would visit at least once or twice per trip, even if I'm not at BLT.

I think the managers are confused as well. There was a huge sense of disappointment during opening week. We told them that we would do our best to spread the word and send members their way. We, personally, went up there a half a dozen times during our stay.
