Yes, there are 2 slides, one for the little kiddies & one for the big kiddies!!

My whole family enjoyed the pool!!!

Mike, the photo you posted of floor to ceiling windows overlooking MK with red ottoman seating thing in front of it, is that where elevators are located ? (it's not TOWL is it?)

Well, we're back home from our brief 2-night stay at Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort.

I asked my wife what her overall impression was, and she said BLT is her new favorite DVC resort. She likes the overall feel of the resort, as she says it feels more upscale and elegant than the other DVC resorts.

I kind of agree with her. I have always had difficulty proclaiming what my favorite DVC resort is. BLT may just be it.

Now, it's back to 12-hour days at work....

It's such a shame about the Top of the World lounge! I LOVED it up there! Maybe they should open it up to ALL DVC members staying on property & see what happens... I know I would visit at least once or twice per trip, even if I'm not at BLT.

I agree with you our family would love to do this

What a great day yesterday was! We spent the entire time at BLT and the Contemporary. We had a great dinner at the California Grill, and then wandered up to the Top of The World lounge.

I spoke with the manager, as he was walking around greeting people. Besides us, there were only 6 other people up there. Most of the servers were just standing around, waiting.

Unless they get more DVC members up there, I don't see it as very profitable and thus the exclusivity for DVC members will vanish.

I'll get around to posting more pics later today. I'm off to breakfast at the Grand Floridian.

Just a little observation and maybe this has already been discussed....

I noticed in the wonderful pictures DVC Mike has shared with us that symbols for I love Mickey are found at the pool area.

First there is a long 'I' in the fountain area, the pool is in a heart design and then the mickey shaped water fun area. When they all line up it reads....
I (heart) Mickey Mouse!!!!

OK now tell me this has already been discussed and I am way behind the 8-ball....I can take it!!! If not, could I be the first to notice it??? I hardly dare that is not the case.

Thank you DVC Mike for sharing the wonderful TR and pictures. You can see how much I enjoyed them that I put a little puzzle together that I did not know of before!!!
