DVC Mike live from BCV (10/23-11/1/09)

Mike you seem to like to just stroll around the parks and soak up the ambiance and occasionally do an attraction or two, is that fairly accurate? That was pretty much the MO for the one trip DW and I did alone and I can't wait to do another. Don't get me wrong I've had some great trips with my kids with us, but going without them is a completely different type of trip.

OMG! I think I would really have to move into the castle if Disney ever put Starbucks in their parks! That would just be a dream come true, wouldn't it? :cloud9:

Me too! Maybe if we all sign a petition declaring our love of Starbucks, Disney would bring them onboard. :worship: Starbucks... almost as much as Disney.

Yep, that's pretty much it. This trip, I haven't even gone on a single Disney attraction yet. I did go on just 4 rides at Universal, but none at Disney.

That's the mode we're in right now. On our last trip, we rode a total of 2 rides for the 4 days we were there. We enjoy strolling the parks, people watching and experiencing things we don't get to enjoy while waiting in line for an attraction.

Thanks, Mike, for the trip report. Your reports are always enjoyable to read, but even more so when we have only 3 weeks until we're there ourselves. Reading your reports and seeing your pictures are a great way to pump us up for our stay at BWV.

Great report and great pictures! Thanks for taking the time! Did your wife get some gluten free muffins at Boardwalk Bakery this trip? You know, they made some fantastic GF cup cakes for us in February:thumbsup2

Mike, if you are up for checking up on & taking a picture of my Disney College Program daughter, PM me & I'll tell you where you can find her. :goodvibes

Love the pics at dusk! I see they've moved the scaffolding around to the Village Green rooms. I can hardly wait til Dec 2010 to stay at BWV! Oh how I wish I were there now :cloud9:

Thanks, Mike! :goodvibes We can't wait to see her tomorrow! :yay: She's been there 12 weeks already (and having the time of her life!) :dance3:

Hope you enjoy the rest of your trip. I'll keep an eye out for you & the Mrs. If you see Jordan walking around World Showcase, stop us and say, "Hi!"

More beautiful photos... I love the ones of Crescent Lake - especially at dusk. So glad you are having another good time there.

WOW Mrs. DVCmike!!! :worship: :worship: :worship: What a fabulous review-it was the PERFECT length! We have never gone to Blue Zoo, but it is on our list of must-do's. :thumbsup2 Have been to Olives in NYC a couple of times- once, Todd English was sitting at the bar with us. He's seems to be a nice guy, made the rounds during dinner to everyone's tables- and the food was spectacular. :goodvibes So happy Blue Zoo treated you so well, and am very impressed with your new citrus orchard additions ( Oh, I would LOVE to grow meyer lemons and moro blood oranges!!!). As a side note, the first thing I ever had at Olives was a blood orange vodka infusion- it made me a Todd fan 4 life! :rotfl:

Beautiful pics, mike!!! What rides did you do at Universal?

Yawn! It's Friday morning.

We're off to the character breakfast at Cape May Cafe, and then it's our regular visit to Downtown Disney.

Wonderful report, Mike. My bff and I are headed down in two weeks and I hope the crowds are as manageable as they look in your pictures. Can't wait!:goodvibes
