Just watched the first video. If it is supposed to get me excited about DVC, it is a failure. Cheap looking and pointless, in my opinion.

I just watched it too. It was very cheesy. I hope they didn't pay a lot for that. The jingle didn't even sound right. My kids could have written a better song. LOL

I said the exact same thing after viewing it. They spent *our* money on this?

Nothing will ever compare (to you) no, just kidding - nothing will compare to the original DVC voice on the the original DVC tape (not DVD). I believe there was music - that's what they should use.

That's what it reminded me of, Dee V. Cee--something done on the cheap and completely wrongheaded. The funny thing is, the last scene, where all the characters are standing in what I assume is supposed to be at the entrance of a DVC resort---but it looks like a Howard Johnson's!

Anybody remember the movie "Dave" with Kevin Kline? Remember when he was trying to get the day care center in the budget and he found the line item in the budget about millions of dollars spent to make people feel good about the American made car they bought? Kind of similar. A real waste of money. Anyone else going to comment on the website? I'll be first.

Juvenile. My former 4th grade students could've been more innovative. The amount of money spent on this, fancy mailings, and 'buy more points' phone calls is wasted.

One thing that I found kind of insulting is that it plays up Merry Member Mixer, while Welcome Home Wednesday was discontinued with a promise of an "improved experience," yet we have heard nothing.

It says quite plainly it's to make us feel better about owning DVC, and give us another benefit of membership! Only members are allowed to view these videos. I feel so special.

There are over 50 comments about the video on the member site, and they are pretty much all in agreement that this is a pretty lame effort & a waste of resources. Wonder how DVC is going to take that?

Wow; that's pathetic! We're Florida residents & buy our APs w/resident discount, not DVC, since it allows us to pay monthly, and lately it seems that I get as many, if not more discounts, with my AP or Disney Visa than with DVC. DVC needs to step it up and treat all DVC members like we matter.

I submitted a comment (it wasn't a positive one), and when I went back to see if it made the cut and was posted, I couldn't find the video or the comments. I wondered if they took the whole thing down after getting such a negative response.

Never mind... I think it just got bumped off of the main page. But the number of comments has grown to over 100. Looks like they are primarily negative.
