we are new DVC members as of Aug 2010, and we took our first trip in October, where we purchased AP's and a TIW card so we then went back in February. I am just now starting to feel the itch to begin planning our fall trip before our Ap's and TIW cards expire. I would be happy with 2x a yr, and hope to keep this trend up. We are OKW'ers and we have also stayed at SSR, which is beautiful as well, just in a different way. I'm partial to the tropicalness of OKW, and in fact I am listening to DCOT Jukebox music from there right now.

I would like to try other resorts, and I know my hubs would too, so hopefully he can peel me from my spacious 1-bdrm, huge balcony and peacefullness OKW gives me! I have stayed at AKL (just not on DVC) and it is a family favorite so we will be making a point to stay there. So many possibilities!

We also just bought in last summer.

We made our first DVC trip to BWV in January and also bought AP's and TIW. We are going again in October for F&W and we also booked for Kadini Village for this January so we can claim a total of 23 days on our AP and TIW.

And we are hoping to get to go to Aulani in April if the pixie dust allows us to.

We have been members since 2008 and tend to go in May and December. I would go more if I could!! Just have to hit that lottery

Hopefully down the road we can buy more points and spend a couple of weeks in January or February as well. I just love my DVC

We try to get 2-3 trips out of an AP. But then we may skip almost a year.

That's almost what we do. We do the 2 or 3 trips but then skip 13 or 14 months.

We usually go once a year. A few times twice. I would like to make it twice more often.

In 2011 we will have flown to use our DVC points 6 times. Then in December we will drive down on the 29th and I will stay with lots of family and friends at different times and DVC places until January 26. The whole family is booked for the 5K over marathon weekend in January, and DDiL will do the 1/2 marathon.

DH won't be with me the whole time, but after my DVC stay, he and I will go on a Western Caribbean cruise. He's always wanted to do one that went to Belize and I won't complain about another week out of Ohio's winter!

DH and I are in our 60s and we first learned about DVC in '96, but I'm not that agile, and wanted to travel abroad while I was able to walk around, and I'm glad we did that. We didn't buy until '03. Now, we do take non-DVC vacations (mainly cruises and National Park trips) but I really enjoy the resorts and non-park time in Florida. Grandchildren, who now live in Florida, can come on weekends without the cost of flying!

Started about 1-2 times a year from 1997 to 2009 but from 12/02/2010-12/04/2011 it will be 6 times. Since we winter in Palmetto, FL we can do shorter trips more often and then we have two coming up with DD and 2 DGS and then DS and DGD that will be a week each.

We average 3 times a year, but we could probably go more often / stay longer if we stopped bringing friends & family along. Hmmm?

All of our trips are listed in my signature, but on average, twice a year. Although we just went three times within an 11 month period in the past year.

Our trips average 10 days each.

I'd say we average twice a year--one 5 day trip with kids and one getaway with DH--usually Pres. week and during F&WF.

Over the last year we did a getaway in December at Vero Beach, a night at AKV before our 3-day Disney Dream family cruise and a night at BLT after the cruise in February, my sister and I stayed a few nights at SSR in May, and we are taking the kids and two of their friends for five nights at OKW next month. I think I'm going to be Disney'ed out for a while after this. Thank gawd for FF miles with the JetBlue AmEx card.

since we have moved from Ohio to Atl, it is so much easier to drive! this year we are super lucky.. we will get to go 4 times. normally it is 2-3 times.

We have been going at least once a year for the past 10 years but next year we are going on a cruise rather than a trip to the World. Hoping that a break will bring back some the magic that familiarity washes away. We will be back on our routine in 2013.

We used to go once a year, usually for 2 weeks. But haven't been there for a couple of years now because my son, as he got older, didn't care for it as much, and also because we had many international trips - 3 trips to Australia plus 2 trips to China between 2009 and now (and I ran out of vacation). Granted, we cruised the Wonder Christmas 2009. That was great! Tempted to try the Dream some time.

Well, turns out my son's best friend's mom is an all time Disney fan. My son won't resist a vacation with his best friend. We are in the middle of all the excitment right now planning a Spring Break trip to the World.
