DVC members question?

I have never stayed in the DVC resorts, but I have achance to stay there now . Dh friend owns DVC there and said we could use it during his time, not sure were his resort stay is usually at or "home resort is".

I am trying to figure out if I am better off staying at DVC property or what my best deal would be.
we would be paying out of pocket for food the next trip, and getting tickets for 3 adults and 3 kids ( hoppers).

Do all the all DVCs hold 6 people? I am assuming they do but thought I better ask first.

If so which one would be first choice ? monorail hook up would be ideal!

The only DVC that will hold 6 is a 2 bedroom at the resorts, which can hold 8. Not sure if Animal Kingdom Villas 1 bedroom hold 6? Your friend should be able to book at any of the DVC resorts regardless of his home resort. That is of course he follows the 7 and 11 month rule. As far as monorail hook up...not yet. Closest thing you can get right now is a quick boat trip from Villa's at Wilderness Lodge (VWL). BWV and BCV are both walking distance to Epcot and MGM. As far as food goes, if you stay with DVC you can get the Disney Dining Plan which works out great.

The AKV 1-bedrooms can sleep 5.

thanks for the help. he said he would help us get whatever we wanted he just needed dates.

I am hoping that he can pull another xmas holiday for us there after this year
