DVC Member Website Survey

Today I noticed a "Tell Us What You Think" survey on the DVC member website (with a chance to win $500). Last time I saw one of these online surveys was for the Walt Disney World website before they revamped it. Hopefully they will revamp the DVC member website so that it is not just a computerized version of our Member Guidebook. As it stands now, the site if very good at sending your elsewhere to seek answers to your inquiries. 'I Wish' that they would give the site dimension with knowledge of me and my preferences, access to my account, online reservations, online point banking and transfers, maybe an online DVC Member Store, and if I can be allowed to dream... online priority seating and other 'membership' perks. Sigh. Oh well, at least it's a good wish.
 
I filled it out last night. Doesn't take very long. There is a small section that allows you to list things you like and dislike about the current web site. I took my time and did it in MS Word than cut and pasted it to that section.

Now's the chance to make a positive impact... I hope. :rolleyes:
 
I completed it as well. Hopefully this will encourage some updating and improvements to the site.
 
Thanks for the heads up. I wish I had read BigDisneyKids advice and taken a little more time. For others who are completing the survey, the only place to express your thoughts is with the questions "What do you like about the site?" "What don't you like about the site?".
 

Did anyone else have a small list of "likes" about the web site?

1) The "Perk" info
2) Resort Descriptions especially for the new dvc resorts.
3) Special events for DVC members.

My dislikes:

1) The site is geared for the novice owner. After 2 years there is very little information for the loyal DVC member.
2) Online info on my account(s) - none, why isn't this available?
3) Why can't we check availibility by resort, dates, room type?
and on and on

How did you answer these questions?

I felt the survey was gear to critque only what is currently there and not really asking for new input.

Exactly! I agree. I gave them my imput for improvement anyway based on what we have been saying in the thread about what we would like for improvements regarding the website. I figured if we all say it, maybe they will listen!
