DVC Member Referral

Does anyone know which states allow the referral payments? I am in Michigan and Referral someone, can I get the 200 referral payment?

If you go to the DVC Members website, select "Refer a Friend" under Member Privledges. Then select 'Program Terms & Conditions'. The eligible states are listed on that page.

I referred my friends and they took a tour. My guide informed that I was NOT entitled to a referral credit since they didn't buy anything. Was he snowing me?

No, you only get the referral bonus if they purchase...and purchase through DVC, not resale.

I am also a MI resident and know that it is not permitted in our state. I have referred 2 families, who both bought and I am not allowed to receive anything. My sales rep did say, however, that he would "take care of me" and that I should go see him while I'm there.

I haven't taken him up on that yet.

Here are the states where you can recieve a referral bonus:
Alabama, Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Missouri, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Carolina, South Dakota, Utah, Virginia, Washington, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

** Note some states like Illinois only allow bonuses up to a certain level.
