ABout to close on BCV resale, I hear we get DVC membership cards. Will this card list our home resort? If we "own" BCV, will we "legally" be able to hop to SAB pool even if we are staying on pts at another resort??

They check your room key to see if you are staying at BCV on the day you are trying to enter SAB. You have to be staying at the resort to use SAB.

Pool hopping to SAB is limited to guests with active reservations at the resort--NOT to owners there. As MrsToad said, you will have to present key cards showing that you are current guests in order to use the pool. If you are staying at a different DVC resort or are not even a guest, you will not be able to use the pool.

And to answer the original question--DVC member IDs do not make any reference to the holder's Home resort(s).

Didn't you ask this same question about a week or so ago? I know I responded to one or two that it didn't matter where you own, only where you are staying.
