DVC has a flat rate exchange for the World Passport Collection and this year added partial weeks.
These are the DVC points required for each room category thru the World Passport Collection.
Studio - 106 Low - 123 Mid - 134 High
1 BR - 124 Low - 144 Mid - 160 High
2 BR - 207 Low - 252 Mid - 270 High
3 BR - 276 Low - 317 Mid - 349 High
The Low/Med/High distinction is not determined by DVC, it is based on each resort. I do not have a point chart for the partial weeks. The numbers above are for a full 7 night stay.
Correct, a 7 nights stay would not be higher than 160 points for a 1 BR.
I assume that II could change the rate over time? Or is the exchange rate set forever?
Okay, just so I understand, 200 DVC points (held at any Disney home resort) would more than cover any 1 BR regardless of season for a 7-night stay?
Just to add to this it is really not any II but any II Disney allows the trade to happen with. DVC allows a subset of II resorts to trade with it is not a fully open "u pick" resort list.
Since the current system has been in place, the rates have not changed that I recall. However, the system itself has changed a number of times over the years. The current system with a set number of points is fairly new on the scene. The following are the versions I recall over the years in order of occurrence.I assume that II could change the rate over time? Or is the exchange rate set forever?
