We just returned from SSR. When we received our bill I double checked it just to make sure we were receiving the free Internet. On 3 days of our bill we were charged 9.95 per day.

We went to the checkout individual who said this happens all the time & that most people don't check their bill till they return home; which is then harder to
to receive the credit.

She did credit our charge card and said that for some reasons there are still bugs in the system and DVC members do get charged for the Internet.

What's really weird in your scenario is that you were charged for 3 days but not for others. You'd think it would be an "all or nothing" kind of scenario if there was a bug in the programming. :confused3
 
We were at SSR 7/1-7/8. I always check the bill, good thing, we were charged also. Went to the Carriage House and they took it off no problem.:thumbsup2
 

The "bug in the system" is the two legged kind that works at the front desk!
 
We were there 7/4-7/6. We had 2 rooms, one with charging privledge on the room key and one without. On the room with no credit card on file, they would not let me connect so I had to call and get a code to bypass that system since it was supposed to be free. On the other room, they did charge for the internet but we caught it on the bill.
 
"Happens all the time" with the free valet parking too.
 
Yup wehad the same at AKV in May stayed 15 nights and used the internet daily but got charged for three days. When we checked out we were told there was nothing to pay but found a charge on the cc when we got home! I rang MS who put me through to AKV billing and the charge was soon refunded.

OK, so am I the only one that sits down on the morning of check out and matches each receipt against my bill?? :rotfl:

(yep, I'm an accountant, even when I'm on vacation!)
 
OKW in June, we used it and were never charged. I was rather impressed having read the difficulties prior users had.

Nope, I'm not an accountant and I check everything!
