DVC guidebooks?

What are they giving out to new SSR owners? The old guidebook plus the new planner?

Just curious. I wonder what they'll do in the future?

Send us another planner?

Hello,

I bought SSR in March so guess I qualify as a new owner!

In my "Members document kit" I had:

DVC Member Benefits Guidebook (which was a load of photocopied pages stapled together, revised 2/20/2004. 23 pages long.

All the stuff about exchanges

All the "official" documentation etc

2004-2005 Vacation planner (colour glossy A4 booklet with family on front at SSR overlooking DTD). 48 pages long.

DVC Saratoga Springs resort public offering statement (A5, revised July 2003, 156 pages long)

New Member guidebook (glossy, colour A4 with Mickey & Minnie on front in a front yard shot through doorway) 60 pages.


Sorry for all the boring detail but I don't know what the "old" ones looked like so hopefully you can tell from my descriptions!

Has anyone heard anything about when the new guidebook will be out and will it be the short version again and a full version this year. It sure would help of they would at least update their website at least once per month.

I haven't heard but I'm guess short version again somewhere around the end of the year. Just a prediction though it was discussed previously when the planner came out that the goal was to alternate the short and long. We shall see. I'd also predict they will cut it out entirely in a couple of years and use the web site as the main option with a more mundate "rule book" of the xerox kind or similar otherwise.
