DVC Fantasy Land Preview?

I am on for 1230 on Monday with Belle
my wife and I gave my kids ages to the cast member but the reservation only says 2 guests. I guess kids don't count??
Anyone else have the same issue?

Finally got in to the passholder website, and couldn't find any link to the preview.
So I called the number, redialed about 5 times, got on hold for just a couple of minutes, and got my preview.
5pm on the 5th

It was so messed up that they've suspended it until 6:00 (after already postponing it a week due to technical difficulties), so maybe this wasn't so bad. I was hoping to get mine that way because the dates were better for us, but I'm perfectly happy to settle for the DVC date I got instead!

Should have read this before I posted the above. Guess things worked out for the best this way.
I'm thinking that a Monday should be better anyway if all the AP dates are on a Saturday or Sunday.

My kids are 10 and 8 and ARE included in the total party size on my confirmation. My husband and I and two kids, party size 4.

Yes, the passholder thing is all messed up. I was trying for 11/3 Ariels Grotto on AP, since I got DVC Belle 11/4. Will try have to try later. Ugh, right at dinner time. I guess it's a pizza night, cuz momma's busy on the phone and internet!

I posted this earlier, but it is a continuing problem for me. I am on call number 4 in the past two hours. Despite the fact that the system they check has me booked for Sunday night at 5 pm, I have had two confirmations come through with the wrong day. So please check your confirmation to be sure it matches what you think you booked! Don't want anyone to be shocked/disappointed if it's wrong. I'm hoping for some pixie dust that the fourth time is the charm.

Finally got my issues straightened out, and now have a correct confirmation!

Got 12.30pm on 5th for Belle. Gave up on AP and I'm not staying up until 11pm (UK time) to try to get Ariel. I've got my preview now and I'll leave those AP slots for passholders that want them. Soooo happy

If you were successful, did you do it online or the phone #

I was able to get 11/3 via the website

At the beggining, the registration form was all wrong. I was unable to enter the right info.

Finaly, around 1h30 , the registration form was perfect and I could register without any problem. I received the confirmation paper by email in 2 minutes but I was able to print the confirmation paper from the website as well.

As of about 40 minutes ago, all three timeslots for the 5th were available.

I gave up and registered for the DVC preview. Didn't get any info about it from DVC nor could I find info on the DVC website. Someone mentioned it on the DIS and I found the phone number in an email from DVCnews.

I'm glad to see that many people had issues getting through from 12-12:30. I was getting a little stressed out. lol

The CM I spoke with didn't ask for ages of anyone, she just asked how many people.

We are going 11/4 at 5pm for Ariel's itinerary. The CM didn't ask which one I wanted at first. I was checking my email while I was on the phone and I received the confirmation email BEFORE she asked which itinerary we wanted. She must have been psychic because she picked the correct one.

That's going to be the highlight day of our trip, I think. We are starting the day with the Sunrise Safari and ending the day with the Fantasyland preview. I may have to schedule a nap in there somewhere.

I tried online for the 11/3 AP but gave up after a half hour. I called DVC at 3:30 Eastern and they picked right up and booked 11/4 @ 12:30. Much easier.

By the way, in case people are wondering, I am DVC member but they would not book it for me because we are staying under my girlfriend's DVC account. I had to conference her in to book it. I never got the original preview email, only she did. I am curious if others members not staying on points were able to book.

I gave up. Finally got trough around 1:15 and the woman asked for my reservation number. We're staying at Art of Animation this trip. She found the reservation but it's in my brothers name. He's a cast member so he made it for me. My name is on the reservation too though. The woman said the lead name on the reservation had to be a DVC member to attend the preview. I asked to speak to a supervisor and got put in another world of hold music. Waited 20 minutes and the original cast member came back on the line saying she was putting me through to central reservations to change the lead name. On hold with central reservations for 5 minutes when I got cut off. By that time it was 2:30 and I had a fussy baby I had been trying to put to sleep throughout this whole ordeal as well as 3 other kids getting ready to walk in from the bus. Very frustrating and annoying! We're sad to miss out, but I just didn't have the patience to call back. That was 2 1/2 hours and nothing accomplished.

Are you a DVC member? Not clear on that. If you are, try again. I wasn't asked for a reservation number just my member number as usual. After all some DVC members are locals and won't necessarily have a resort reservation. Anyway, as long as you are DVC you should be able to reserve for you and three others. Good luck.

Starting my calling at starting time and got through in about 35 minutes. Made our appointment for monday and as other said all the slot were open. No issues with the letter by e-mail. All info was correct. Excited to see it.

Yes, we are DVC, but we are not staying at a DVC resort this time. The cast member insisted the event is not available to locals because I made that same point when she wouldnt book it for me. Is there any point to calling back or is it booked up by now?

I called at about 2:30, and the CM picked up on the first ring. We are going on the 5th at 12:30 with Belle. Very cool!
