I will probably buy a TIW card for our November trip, but noticed that there are very few CS locations listed for the TIW card. With this being said, does the DVC discount apply to most (if not all) CS locations?

That would not be a bad deal to get the 20% at TS locations with the TIW card, and use the DVC card for 10% at all CS locations. Any input?

I do not think there are any DVC discounts for the CS locations, and very few for passholders.

DVC discount applies to selected TS locations and most are for lunch, not dinner.

Thanks!! Glad to hear that Earl's is on the list, as that is one of our favorite DTD CS locations. We will have all (3) discount cards anyhow--DVC, TIW, and PAP. I would hope with all three of these, we will be eligible for a discount at most locations, lol.

That's one thing that is better at Disneyland - DVC 10% food discount applies pretty much everywhere. So members complain about the small ticket discount but you do get better discounts on food.

TIW works at the All Stars Food Courts!

I know that suggestion seems strange ... but my husband and I got a chance to experience All Star Movies for the first time earlier this year. We didn't hate it and found ourselves enjoying the Food Court Access. So much so ... that in casual conversation this week we talked out options of trekking over to All Stars from BWV just to use the Food Court. Very strange, I know. I guess we just learned that we might be 'value people'! :lmao:

I picked up on that too! We have plans to visit some value Food Courts during our trip for lunches.

TIW and/or discounts are offered at locations where there is enough profit in the restaurants pricing to offset the discount.

The DVC discounts are given by restaurants not owned by Disney who are happy bringing in business during slower periods.

Wolfgang Pucks Marketplace isn't on the DVC discount list but they have always given us a discount.

My understanding was that a TiW discount is given at CS locations where there is no restaurant on site. Therefore, you can get the discount at POFQ but not at POR for example.

Certainly POP and the All Stars qualifies too (or it did the last time I used my TiW) card.

I would say a $10 hot dog is profitable enough to offer a discount. :rotfl2:

They put out discounts to encourage you to patronize certain locations. They don't want to encourage you to eat counter service, they want to encourage you to eat at the more expensive table service.
