Maybe. Don't know if there will be a discount for the 2006 parties - we'll have to wait and see if Disney offers it again. IIRC, the passholder was able to buy up to 4 tickets with one AP last year.

was the AP discount available through a special number to call? I had APs but didn't know I could have gotten a discount!

I know you could order them via the AP holder website. I guess you could have called the passholder phone number too. Last year we arrived on the 26th and the last night of discounted tickets was the 25th. This year we are going earlier (Oct. 15-27) so should be able to purchase discounted tickets if they are available again this year. They were 25% off. They were availabe about 6 different nights, mostly off days (Sun/Tue/Thur). They also were not available immediately when the dates are released. The discounts were announced later.

I never knew there was a discount. We went to the party about four times last year, and paid full price every time.

It was only designated dates, not all of the dates. 6 out of the 15 dates were available with the AP discount.

Here is what the AP website says currently regarding 2006 tickets:

Specially Ticketed Magic Kingdom® Park Events
Watch for discounts on the following specially ticketed events at the Magic Kingdom® Park: Night of Joy, Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party and Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party.

Discount is only available on selected nights, based on a limited availability, and applies to "Day-Of" admission price (does not apply to "Advance Sales" admission price) for these specially ticketed events. The Passholder may purchase up to a total of 4 discount tickets. For specially ticketed event dates and prices, visit disneyworld.com/passholder beginning June 1, 2006.

So looks like they plan to offer them again this year.
