Our TIW card has expired and I expect to get a new one in April. However, I have a one night stay in March and have an ADR in Chefs for lunch. Does the 20% discount we get with the DVC card work the same as the TIW, that is, is the tip added?
Thanks,
Bobbi

Note: All restaurant discounts do not include gratuities, tax and alcoholic beverages, unless noted otherwise. Discounts not valid on major U.S. holidays. Theme Park admission is required and reservations are recommended where noted. Hours of operation for lunch seating at each location vary slightly

the 20% dvc discount only applies at lunch at Chef's...and as above the tip is not automatically added (no discount on alcohol either).

It's been years since I used a dvc dining discount...but if I remember they asked to see my blue card.

Thank you. I didn't read the fine print!:thumbsup2

Glad to hear that since I just made reservations for Chefs in June. I'm not the best at knowing what discounts AP or DVC have so I just always ask.

Unfortunately, we don't pay much attention to the DVC dining discounts. That's because some of them come and go so fast. It seems as if they're gone before the ink's dry on the paper. Remember the DVC discount at Mara? That one came and went in the blink of an eye about 2 years ago. I think there was one that same day or two at Boma.

Yes, the Mara one ended almost as soon as there was a DVC at Jambo. I was quite annoyed at that. The Chefs de France discount for lunch has been around for a long time. We also have used the DVC discount at Fultons quite often.

Maybe consider adding the Dining Plan to your ressie. I bet it is the same price as dinner.. You would also get a QS and a snack.

... OR GOOOO crazy and get the DDP and have morning breakfast at Cape May, or dinner at Flying Fish :) You will get a free mug for doing the 1 night stay along with 3 TS (or QS) and 2 snacks.. MAKEs a heck of a 1 day trip :)

Our one night at BWV is before a Princess Cruise, so we will have lots of food available to us in the next 7 days after our stay. That cruise is out of Ft. Lauderdale, but I always have a hard time going to Florida and not getting some time in Disney. So, first thing in the AM, we're heading down south to the cruise ship.

It's F&G time, Juice Newton will be the performer. My oldest DS used to sing her " Queen of Hearts" over and over, I guess it was in the '80s. It's only 1 night in Disney, I'm really looking forward to it.

Thanks for the suggestion, though. We love the morning breakfast at Cape May!
