DVC Discount and AP Question

Hi, wondering if I can get the AP discount for my in laws for our upcoming Oct. trip if they are staying with us in our DVC room we rented with points? I was told the only thing you need to pick them up is your DVC member card. Can this be done or do you have to be an actual owner? Please let me know! Thank you!

I should have mentioned that my husband & I do own at DVC. I wasn't sure if my post sounded like we rented points. So just to be clear!

Spoke to member services today with the same question. To get an annual pass discount the person must live at the same address as you and have identification. I purchased mine today for a trip in August.

Correct - only family members living at your address (with ID proving that) can get the discounted APs.
