What are the chances of being able to book a cruise on points/cash combo at 6 months? I can't book until Dec. 1st and would like to cruise next June. Anyone had any luck booking this short of notice using points?

Any idea what it would cost in cash for 1 adult/1 child if I booked other adult and child on points? (4 day cruise in June)

I do know that cruising on points is not your best use of points, however, that is our decision to use them this way. We also do not wish to rent them to pay for cruise.

We booked our cruise for this past May only 7 months out and had no problem getting the cabin we wanted. June is a bit busier, but I wouldn't be surprised if there is still availability. You may not get your exact choice of cabin though. I think that a lot of people book their vacations over the Christmas holidays.
