DVC DCL discounts?

Hi everyone. I have heard that in the past DVC members have received emails with discounted rates for last minute DCL sailings. Has anyone received these? If so are they decent discounts, and are there certain times of the year when these are more likely? TIA.

They are pretty short notice. I remember getting maybe one (maybe two) emails from MS about these. Possibly Sept cruises or Dec cruises.

DVC is the last to get discount cruise offers, military, Florida residents, prior cruisers, all get offered first.

What's really said is the DCL and DVC are both run by Karl Holz, president of New Vacation Operations and Disney Cruise Line.

They had some in 2012 for October thru December and 2013 for maybe September? They only release the rates around 4-6 weeks beforehand so it's very last minute. IIRC they were around $950pp plus taxes. I think there were also some in 2012 for the last Canada sailings out of NYC but don't quote me on that.

ETA: The $950pp was on the Fantasy.
