As part of a continuing effort to serve the growing Member community more efficiently, a single Condominium Association Meeting for Members of all Disney Vacation Club Resorts will take place on Dec. 4 at Disney's Coronado Springs Resort Convention Center at the Walt Disney World® Resort.
The consolidated event, to be comprised of a Board of Directors meeting at 11 a.m. and a Member meeting at 2 p.m., is designed to help more Members than ever participate.
"With more and more Members calling multiple resorts 'home,' it was becoming increasingly difficult for many Member families to attend all of their respective meetings," said Leigh Anne Nieman, Director of Business Standards and Regulatory Affairs for Disney Vacation Club. "We're committed to making the best use of Members' time and Annual Dues, minimizing the time and money spent on these annual meetings, and maximizing the time Members have to enjoy their vacation. As important as these meetings are, we realize that Members don't come to the Walt Disney World Resort just to sit in a conference room."
Beyond getting the latest information and updates about program enhancements from Disney Vacation Club leaders, Members also look to the annual meetings as key opportunities to reconnect with their Disney neighbors.
"The meetings have become quite the social events," Leigh Anne said. "Members stick around long after each meeting ends to visit with other Member families. By hosting one consolidated meeting, more Members than ever will be able to catch up with their neighbors and enjoy that sense of community."
Be sure to book your resort reservations soon if you plan to attend the meeting, as organizers expect a large turnout, and room availability will be limited.
