They said last year there was no plans to open the Spa at this time.

And DVC does not have any input on hotel decisions like the tea room.

The Spa iteself was never part of the association. It appears to me that the space itself is a commerical space of the assocation. Since it is currently vacant, I believe that it means the cost would be part of the operational costs to owners...when Senses ran it, they were responsiblity for the expenses.

Well, they obviously haven't had IT update the description...no surprise there.

The question was about who is respsonbile to pay for the space. The spa itself was considered an incidental benefit so people buying were not guaranteed it would always be there. Its the same with AKV...there is no guarantee that the savannah will have animals.

As a commerical space, when occupied, the tenants would pay for the space. Now, it would be built into the dues.

Well, legally they do. Now I agree that if they don’t ever intend to bring it back, they should.

But, that’s it’s legal name so not sure how easy it would be.

Even though they refer to Old Key West as that, the legal documents will say Lake Buena Vista Resoet.
