Since we're always bashing Disney and their computer systems, I figured I would share this story
I was making my 3rd DVC reservation and had to use a combination of 1 time use pts and borrowed pts. Since the resort I wanted (OKW) wasn't available, I had to book at SSR and waitlist OKW. Well since SSR was 14 more pts total, I was worried if the waitlist came through, I would be stuck with 14 pts (and obviously couldn't bank them since they were borrowed)
I asked if there was anyway to switch my pts from another reservation so that if the waitlist did come through, I would get 2013 use pts returned so I could bank them
Well the CM made the SSR reservation, cancelled it, and low and behold the 24 one time use pts transfered into the Aug reservation and gave me those points in my 2013 use year!
Now just need a little pixie dust for the waitlist
