Good morning and thanks to @PrincessGidget for the reminder!

Good morning and thanks to @PrincessGidget for the reminder!

We never thought we'd do 1BR for just DH and I, but we've found the kitchen, w/d, and dedicated living room/lounge area make it much more enjoyable for us. We like being able to make a quick, lighter meal of eggs or grilled cheese in the room if we want. I like being able to easily do laundry right in the room if we get caught in a downpour or sweat through a couple changes of clothes, and it's nice if one person wants to stay up later, get up earlier, or take a nap if the other doesn't. They can go in the bedroom and the other can watch TV or whatever in the living room. DH or I still often have to do a few hours of work while we're gone, and we can have separate spaces to do that.Lots of people on here love 1 bedrooms. I don’t get them. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in one. Done lots of studios, 2 bed and GVs but never a 1 br. It’s not really that many more points to go up to a 2 br. Or you could do 2 studios for the price of a 1 bedroom, and sleep twice as many. Of course you’re sacrificing kitchen and w/d, but still. Maybe it’s just me, but I just don’t get it.
I've actually never done a studio and have 0 plans to do so. I'm way past the age of sleeping in the same room as my kids, especially for a week+ long trip. I will gladly shell-out the points for a 1bd or maybe even a 2bd, even knowing that the points value is worse.Lots of people on here love 1 bedrooms. I don’t get them. It’s just DH and me but depending on the trip, we go with 1 beds instead of studios sometimes. We like them for runDisney weekends for the king bed, W/D and kitchen. Also love them for summer trips when we’ll be spending more time at the resort mid day. More room to relax and again the W/D. The rest of the time we’ll book a studio if available!Lots of people on here love 1 bedrooms. I don’t get them. I don’t think I’ve ever stayed in one. I pack more than what's needed even if I have a washer and dryer. It's the type a in meOur trip is going to be the longest we have ever taken. Normally I pack enough underwear for everyone so I dont have wash them in the w/d (Im a bit weird that way). Just told my husband... am I going to suck it up and put them in the washer or pack 43 pairs of underwear. Decisions... decisions..

Yes, it's a *DVC direct requirement* for FL properties, even with cash. Disney requests all deeded members on the same notary call, but if you can't swing it, you can setup different times. Can someone remind me if a notary is needed if you are buying a FL resale property as a cash buyer?
Are we talking resale DVC contracts or other property? I have purchased 3 resale DVC contracts in the past 12 months, all for cash, and none of them required me and my wife as the buyers to notarize anything. Maybe it depends on your state of residence?Yes, it's a FL property requirement, even with cash. Sorry, I assumed @AstroBlasters meant direct when he said cash (I will edit the OG reply for clarity). This is a direct DVC requirement because of Florida Statute sections 692.202-205.Are we talking resale DVC contracts or other property? Thank you. I am poking around of some resale contracts, but my wife REALLY doesn’t want to go to a notary again. Are we talking resale DVC contracts or other property?
