When I double click my iphone my DVC card comes up and also a circle that says (hold near reader). What reader? Is this for charging or something? No idea
what this means. Not good with using Iphone or using for that Genie crap.
Double clicking activates Apple Pay, Apple's system where you can pay for stuff using credit cards stored in your phone. And since your DVC card is the only one in your phone, it pops up.
Since you have no interest in using Apply Pay, you can turn it off. If you go to Settings > Wallet & Apple Pay, there's a setting in there called "Double-Click Side button". If you turn that off, the card won't show any more when you double click. Hope this helps!
The double click shortcut is great for accessing a card to use Apple Pay.
New users need to know though that if they want to pull up their DVC card, they still have to go through the wallet, because the double-click method just shows the front of the card and the option to view the back of the card (the "three dots") to view the DVC-Y info isn't available.
I've seen quite a few people who are used to using the double click method get tripped up when they need to see the back of their DVC card because they're so used to the convenience of double clicking.
